LOL Jeweled Necklace

This may in fact be the gaudiest piece of jewelry I've ever made.

I was originally looking for something the opposite of somber, to go with the text-message in the faux typewriter keys. But it ended up being a way to show off the handmade settings for the jewels. They're carved out of ebony piano keys, and I'm *almost* completely happy with them. They tend to swing around on the chains until you can't see the jewels, and I think there may be a better way to shape the ebony to make the glass facets shine a little better. All in all though, I think they work fairly well.

The typewriter keys are made from refurbished metal buttons, and I found the glass jewels at the local flea market.
