TMI Choker by Fandragon TMI Choker by Fandragon
More of my faux-typewriter keys, plus a length of sheer ribbon from a box of chocolate truffles my mother-in-law gave us. My mother-in-law knows me so well

I should probably put a little more effort into the sewing next time, but I'm proud of the clasp. It's a little hard to see, but it's basically a length of loose chain on one side, and two hooks on the other. You fasten the choker by hooking one end of the chain in place around your neck, pulling it as tight as it needs to be, and then anchoring the chain to the other hook. It works pretty well...or at least it would if I could abide wearing something that close to my neck. Why I keep getting inspired to make jewelry I'll NEVER WEAR is a mystery.

Extra points to anyone who can guess the book cover I used for the background.

*waves her hand like Hermoine* I know I know! It's Fragile Things isn't it!

And the contrast of the black keys is really nice with the gold ribbon.

Yes, you guessed it! Not the first time I've used that cover as a background, but it's the first time so much of it was in view.

I'd originally set this up with white keys with black lettering, but I thought the white against the gold made the piece look a little washed-out. I'm glad the black keys worked.
