Minor variation on the watch-part earrings I've made before. These use cherry wood, instead of maple, which means that they'll become more rose-colored the longer they're exposed to sunlight. Using cherry saves you the trouble of having to use a stain to darken the wood, but BOY is it tough to polish. Every single scratch might as well have been drawn in with a pen, and it takes a LONG time to sand everything smooth. Fortunately I had some nice gears and cogs to cover over the worst marks.
