"Rawr" "RUN AWAY"by ~Fandragon

Artisan Crafts / Culinary Arts / Pumpkin Carving

This was originally inspired by a design in the "Extreme Pumpkins" book. The design was titled "My Head Is On FIRE!", which is what this was supposed to look like: one pumpkin bursting into flames, while two smaller pumpkins react in horror. However once I set them on the stone wall in front of my house, it looked more like two little guys fleeing in terror as a monster with five teeth chases them along the wall.

There was some slight photoshopping done to the little guy in front, since the outer skin was so brittle it snapped off between the mouth and the left eye. I'm not...entirely sure what those smaller ones are, actually. They grew out of the compost in our garden, and while they don't look quite like pumpkins, I don't remember buying any gourds that shape last year.
