Mmmm, sacrilicious.
Again with the text-necklaces. I haven't exactly figured out why I like these so much, or what I think I'm trying to say with them. It has something to do with taking text-messages, which are a simplified, almost degraded form of language, and elevating them into art. In a way, salvaging them. Yeah, that would look good on an artist's statement. If I'm being honest, I just think they're kinda cool.
As with my other text-necklaces, the typewriter keys are actually salvaged metal buttons. The ribbons are also salvaged, one of them from the Scrap Exchange! [link] .
